Please can you help. I have received a huge raft of paperwork which is entitled PQQ and I have no idea where to start! Any advice appreciated
Firstly don’t panic, follow these simple pointers to get you started. You don’t mention how you received the PQQ pack in the first instance so i’m not sure if the buyer has contacted you directly but these simple steps should give you some structure and comfort to tendering and responding to the PQQ
1. Read the documents that you have been sent, check that all documents and appendices referred to are all attached and present.
2. Make comments of your questions etc whilst reading it through
3. Try and interpret what the buyer is actually looking for (this can often be referred to in a requirements document / functional specification etc)
4 Look at the timelines and plan when you are going to complete the PQQ (or outsource it to a professional bid writing company – Hint!)
5 Start the writing process in plenty of time, allowing yourself time to check, print, bind (if necessary) and deliver the documents, check how many copies are needed and ensure that they are delivered within the timescales
