Scotland Food and Drink is hosting a Meet the Buyer Event with leading wholesaler Lomond Fine Foods, a privately owned family run firm delivering a superb range of chilled, ambient and frozen goods to the foodservice service sector across Scotland from Inverness to the Borders and into the North of England.
The company has a particular focus on the cafe sandwich bar market, but also supplies extensively to restaurants, hotels, garden centres and other food service operators.
The company has recently introduced a specific Scottish range and is looking for new suppliers that will broaden and enhance the existing portfolio of products.
Quality, innovative and interesting products across all categories are sought, including:
- sandwich fillings of all descriptions
- bread, baked goods and confectionery
- bacon, sausages and other fresh meat products
- cooked meats
- smoked fish
- soft drinks
- preserves, chutneys and condiments
With a turnover of more than £10 million and such a broad portfolio of customers, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to grow your business with the support of a major wholesaler.
Companies will be required to submit an application form for consideration by Lomond Fine Foods. Successful applicants will be invited to attend a pre-determined 1:1 slot in either the morning or afternoon with representatives of the senior team, including the Managing Director and the senior buyer, technical and sales managers. Companies will be required to bring product samples.
