Leicester City Council require a supplier who can provide up market deli-style food, drink and snacks to its “Creative Industry” tenants and members of the public for its café in the City Centre Area. The supplier should be able to supply and deliver premium deli-style products such as luxury sandwich fillers, organic juices, glass bottled juices, snacks which are specifically detailed below. Customers have maintained their interest and expectancy for upmarket products.
Current local produce at the Café includes: . Pre prepared sandwich fillers. . Range of cheeses – Cheddar, feta, mozzarella, goat’s cheese, brie, stilton. . Sliced meats – ham, turkey, beef, pork. . Tinned goods – Chilli con carne, vegetable chilli, beans, tuna, tomatoes. . Cream & butter portions, spread. . Locally made cakes – Muffins/flapjacks/tray cakes (individually wrapped). Bottled beverages/drinks and snack products includes: . Fruit juices, individual glass bottles of 330ml at least Orange, Apple, Cranberry & Mixed fruit. . Cans & Bottles of Fizzy Drinks. . Still & Sparkling water. . Locally sourced sparkling drinks in various flavours (Belvoir presses etc). . 1 litre apple and orange juice cartons. . Crisps – all types including hand-cooked premium products, currently Walkers and Tyrell’s are served. . Tortillas . Chocolate bars and confectionery. . Bottled sauces – Tomato ketchup, mayonnaise, brown, salad cream. . Tea pigs. . Oils eg dressing oils, Olive oils, vegetable oils. . Offers on new and interesting products. Frozen provisions include: . Breads – bloomer bread, normal bread loafs, baguettes, ciabatta, small seeded rolls, burger buns. . Chips. . Jacket potatoes. . Quiches. . Frozen vegetables. . Meat – steak, bacon, sausages. . Fish – Salmon, fish fingers. . Cakes/muffins/tray cakes. . Large desserts/ice cream. . A variety of buffet food. Disposables & Packaging Solutions . Considerations Delivery should be twice a week, currently Mondays and Thursdays, and flexible enough to deal with last minute requests, which must be honoured. Please state – .
