Ocurem… What does it mean? Well we often get asked that, and we started Ocurem with a dream of helping companies who are very good at what they do, but not quite so adept at putting this to paper.
The name Ocurem comes from the strapline an integral part of procurement.
Ocurem quite simply has two missions:
- 1: Ocurem seeks to support companies who benefit commercially via procurement processes and practices
- 2: Ocurem works to help companies and individuals improve their procurement knowledge and practices through training, experience and collaboration
In practice this means that we help organisations turn bids into business, from the very concept of preparing for tendering, finding the right tenders which are suitable and writing the bid submissions to be selected as the winner. And we help individual buyers to gain their industry accreditations through Ocurem as an accredited Study Centre of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply. (CIPS)
